Wanja is one of Hawayo Takata's 22 Reiki Masters. She met Mrs. Takata in 1978 at a first degree class at Barbara Browns house in Lumby, B.C. Canada. Wanja was initiated as a Reiki Master on Oct.12th 1979 at her home in Cherryville, British Columbia. She has been travelling and teaching Reiki worldwide since then.
Anneli is Wanja's eldest daughter. She took her first degree class with Mrs. Takata in 1979. Then in 1981 she received her 2nd degree from Wanja & Rick Bockner in Argenta, B.C. On Oct. 1st 1984, Anneli was made a Reiki Master by her mother Wanja in Stockholm, Sweden with Phyllis Furumoto (Takata's granddaughter) in attendance. She has travelled with her mother and on her own teaching Reiki for over 20 years.
